The Hero HF Dawn is the Gurgaon-based two wheeler
major’s base level commuter. This bare bones machine embodies the philosophy of
the original CD100 from the late 1980s & serves the purpose of travelling
from point A to point B with nothing more involved.
The Hero HF Dawn is powered by a 97cc engine that produces 7.7bhp & 8Nm of torque. Power is channelled to the rear wheel via a four-speed sequential manual & a chain drive.
Given its very low price, the HF Dawn’s feature list is almost minimal. It gets an analogue console with just a speedometer, single trip metre, drum brakes & wire wheels on the front & back. It is offered in five colour options - black with purple stripes, black with red stripes, red silver & maroon.
